This does not work on the default layout or my custom layout.Įdit: Meant to ask why ctrl + c/v doesnt work, not why it does work. I should mention, I am configuring a Planck Rev6. I would think these commands would be all or nothing by default.Ĭan someone please explain what I am doing wrong here? Sorry if this has been asked, I searched all over Reddit and Google with no luck. It would make sense if I was not building a layer correctly, but the fact that Alt + Tab works as expected on windows really confuses me. Why doesn't the basic ctrl + c and ctrl + v on windows work to copy and paste? I cant get them to work and very surprisingly, I cant find any other users asking this question. I am, however stumped by something that seems like it should be simple. Hey, still pretty new with QMK, but it all makes sense so far. However, if I press Ctrl + C, then Ctrl key lights up on the tester, but not the 'C' key. Explains why this issue made zero sense to me. Ctrl key works / lights up when pressed 'C' key works / lights up when pressed If I press Ctrl + 'any other letter' - both Ctrl and the other letter key lights up on the tester, showing that both work. I swear I tested every socket on my pcb, but I guess I missed one. When submitting a link or text-post, tagging your submission will help others find it quickly (Hint: Use our Tag Guide for help). Now, from the right box select the following Command: EditCopy On the Categories box, scroll until you find "All Commands" and select it. On the bottom there is a label "Keyboard Shortcuts" and a button "Customize." - click it

To "restore" word to the way you remember, you need to go to, File->Options->Customize Ribbon It is not clear why this happens, couldn't find any Microsoft blog post or something that confirms this, BUT, when looking through the Word 2010 settings I have found that there was a complete revamp of the shortcuts.
